"A touch of Ronald Searle"
Tom Morgan-Jones is a professional illustrator and hand-lettering artist of 25 years' standing. He mainly works in dip-pen and ink with digital colour but he is also known to pick up a paintbrush on occasion.
Tom's areas of work include illustration and hand-lettering for clients in book publishing, newspapers and magazines, advertising, business and more. His work has appeared in brochures, maps and stage sets and on milk cartons, billboards and the backs of buses. He was one third of the political games company Terrorbull Games where his satirical board game work entered the collections of the Nobel Peace Centre, V&A, and the Imperial War Museum, was exhibited in the Berlin Academy of Arts and was even tested by the Ministry of Defence to check he hadn't accidentally made a terrorist training tool (they said it was fine, phew).
Tom thinks in ink and loves collaborations so if you would like to discuss a commission or collaboration, please get in touch via the Contact tab.
Psst! Tom also has a separate website and portfolio for his children's books work and kids' events at inkymess.com
